How do I add a new exchange rate table?
If you have enabled exchange rates for your PowerSteering site, you now have the ability to create multiple exchange rate tables. Once created you can display multiple exchange rates in dashboards and include multiple exchange rates in reports. Note that a PowerSteering team member must enable exchange rates for your site AND the ability to have multiple exchange rates before you can use this feature. This article describes how to create a new exchange rate table, and how to add individual rates to the exchange rate table.
1. Click Admin
2. Click Add Table
- Click Add Table.
3. Enter Table Information
- Click Name, type the name of your new exchange rate table.
- Click Save.
Copy Current: Selecting this option will copy the rates within the table currently displayed to the new table.
Set as a default: Selecting this option will indicate that you want to use this newly created table as the default within PowerSteering.
4. Confirm Table Addition
- View confirmation message that the new table was added.
5. Click Add Exchange Rates
- Click Add Exchange Rate.
6. Select Currency
- Click Currency, select a currency from the list.
7. Select Start Date
- Click Start Period, select a date from the calendar.
8. Enter Rate Information
9. View Rate
- View the newly added rate.
Note: Repeat steps 5 through 8 to add additional exchange rates to this newly created table.
