How are workflow action items configured?
Workflow action items are created by PowerSteering based on the workflow configured for the selected Work Type. Workflow routing designs and rules that PowerSteering uses to create and assign action items are not visible in PowerSteering. They are configured in the Workflow Manager by Upland Resources. This article describes how worfklow action items are configured.

1. Action Items
- Workflow action items, workflow action buttons, and action item assignments are all configurable based on the workflow needs. Action items can be assigned to users based on project role, group, or a look up table. A workflow action item can only be assigned to a single resource, but multiple action items can be generated and assigned to different users in one workflow step.
