How do I change the Resource Review display?
There are several different ways that you can change the display to help you with managing your resources. This article describes the display options for the Resource Review page.
1. Click Display
- Click Display, the page drops to show the display options.
2. Select Display Options
- Select your display options.
Period: This option allows you to select a period of Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
Display range: This option lets you choose to display your date as a rolling period with a certain number of days, weeks or months prior and future. Or you can select date range and set a to and from date.
Group allocation by: This options allows you to group data in the allocation section by the name of a user or the name of a project.
Group demand by: This options allows you to group data in the unstaffed demand section by the name of a role or the name of a project.
Priority: This option allows you to select a priority value to filter the display of work by priority.
Highlight: This option allows you to indicate if you want to highlight active and / or inactive work. Active work item rows will be highlighted blue, inactive work item rows will be highlighted yellow.
Yellow threshold (%): For allocation summary rows, set a percent value to define the lower limit of the yellow threshold. If the percentage of capacity is between this value and the red threshold, the data will be highlighted yellow. If the percentage capacity is below this value, the data will not be highlighted.
Red threshold (%): For allocation summary rows, set a percent value to define the lower limit of the red threshold. If the percentage of allocated capacity is above this value, the data will be highlighted red.
Display demand as: This option allows you to show your demand as effort, which will display in hours. Or as an allocation which will display as a percentage.
Precision level: This option lets you choose whether hours are displayed as whole numbers or as whole numbers rounded to the nearest tenth.
Apply to all layouts: Select this check box to apply the selected precision level to all saved layouts.

The above screen shots show examples of how the allocation section can be grouped by person, to show the projects and tasks to which they are assigned with their role. Or grouped by project, to show which users have which tasks in which role.
2.2. View Group Demand
The above screen shots show examples of how the unstaffed demand section can be grouped by role, to show the projects and tasks that require a resource. Or grouped by project, to show which roles are required for which task.
3. Select Additional Columns
- Click Additional column, select an option from the list. If you select a Measure or Metric you will need to provide additional information.
- Click Apply options.
4. View Display
- View the updated display with the additional column.
