How do I add a custom help link?

Administrators have the ability to customize the help menu in PowerSteering to include support materials that are specific to their company. This article describes how to add a custom help link to the help menu.

1. Click Help

  1. On the Icon Bar click the Admin button.
  2. Click Configuration to expand the menu, then click Help.

2. Click Add New

  • Click Add New.

3. Select File or Enter URL

  • In the Add Documents dialog box, click Browse... to choose a file, or type in a URL location.

  1. In the Title field, type a title for your custom help link.
  2. In the Description field, type a brief description of the custom help link.
  3. Enter or select additional information as needed.
  4. Click Add Document.
  5. Repeat Step 3 to add additional custom help links.

4. Click Done

Click Done
  • Click Done.

5. View Custom Help Links

  • The newly added custom help links now appear under the help menu below the default help links.
