What is a tag group?

Tag groups can facilitate the management of tags with a large number of values when the values are similar but do not all go together logically. For example, if you have a tag called City that contains values of all cities in which your projects could operate, you could create tag groups that organize the cities into logical groups (California, Massachusetts, Nebraska, etc.). This type of organization can also be accomplished by creating tags for California, Massachusetts, and Nebraska, but when using tag dependencies, tag groups are dynamic and anything you add to the tag group will automatically be reflected as an option in the tag dependency for which the group is used. This article describes a tag group.
