How do I edit top level tag values for an existing tag dependency?

Once a tag dependency has been created, the top level tag/tag group cannot be changed; however, you can edit top level tag values. This article describes how to edit top level tag values for an existing tag dependency.

Note: Changing the dependency structure of existing tag dependencies can significantly impact tag values for work that has already been created on your site. If you delete a tag value from an existing tag dependency, it and all of its dependent tags and values will be removed from the history. If you no longer want users to select a particular tag value, it should be locked rather than deleted.
