How to I exclude/include effort from Team Panel totals?

Exclude from totals is a tool that lets you select particular gates or tasks and see the resource impact that particular item would have if you were to actually remove it from the project. Once the effort for a gate or task has been excluded from the Team Panel, it can easily be included again. This article describes how to exclude and include effort from Team Panel totals.

1. Select Items

  • Select the check box next to the gates(s) or task(s) you want to exclude.

2. Click Apply

Click Apply
  1. Select Exclude from totals from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click Apply.

3. View Updated Effort

  • View updated effort in the Team Panel.

4. Select  Items

  • Select the check box next to the excluded gate(s) or task(s) you want to include.

5. Click Apply

Click Apply
  1. Select Include in totals from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click Apply.

6. View Updated Effort

  • View updated effort in the Team Panel.
