How do I approve a document?

Once an approval request has been submitted, users that are assigned as an approver for the document will receive a question in their PowerSteering Inbox. This article describes how to approve a document.

1. Click Inbox

Click Inbox
  • On the Icon Bar, click the Inbox button.

2. Approve Document

  1. View document if necessary.
  2. Select Approve or Reject.
  3. Type approval comments in the Comments field (optional).
  4. Click Submit.

3. View Confirmation

  • View confirmation of document approval.

4. View Document

  • The status of the document is updated to Approved.
