How do I navigate the Workload page?
The Workload page lets you review the schedule of current work obligations over a 12 week or 12 month period. A user can access their own workload under the Profile Menu or, if given sufficient permissions, view the workloads of other users from their profiles. This article describes how to navigate the Workload page.
1. The Workload Page
On the Workload screen, the top bar graph shows the cumulative workload for each period as both a percent of total time and a percent of proposed time and the bottom graph shows a simple time line of the work that makes up the workload, with the load by project indicated for each. The graph’s bars are colored according to the legend enabling a user to easily see whether upcoming workload is overextended or not.
Proposed Hours: These are any hours for work that has a proposed status.
Committed Hours: These are any hours for work that does not have a proposed status.
Over Proposed Hours: These are any hours over capacity for work with a proposed status. Proposed work is counted against capacity after committed work.
Over Committed Hours: These are any hours over capacity for work that does not have a proposed status. Work is over committed only if capacity is fully taken by committed work.
Note: The graphs will illustrate in sets of 10%. For example, a value of 1% will result in the graph showing 0% - 10% shaded.
