How do I search for a report?

The filter option in Manage Reports allows you to control what data is displayed on the page and easily search for a report.  This article describes how to search for a report.

1. Click Manage Reports

Click Manage Reports
  1. On the Icon Bar, click the Review button.
  2. Click Reports to expand the menu, then click Manage Reports.

2. Filter Reports

  1. Specify report filters.
  2. Click Search.

Location: Select a check box next to the location(s) that you want to search in.

Email: Type a comma-separated list of email addresses in this box to show only reports that are scheduled to email to at least one of the email addresses specified.

Name: Type a report name in this box to show reports that include a specific string in their name.

  • All of: This search operator will return any report(s) \Pthat contains all of the words in the Name field. It is not case sensitive.
  • Any of: This search operator will return any report(s\P) that contains the word in the Name field. It is not case sensitive.
  • Exactly: This search operator will return any report(s) \Pthat match the word(s) \Pin the Name field exactly. It is not case sensitive.

Modified By: Click this field to search for and select a user to show only reports modified by a specific person.

Created By: Click this field to search for and select a user to show only reports created by a specific person.

Group: Click this field and select the check box next to a group(s) to show reports owned by members of a specific group.

Duration: Enter a report duration in minutes to view reports with specific running times.

  • Greater than: This search operator will return any report(s) with a running time longer than the time specified.
  • Less than or equal to: This search operator will return any report(s) with a running time less than or equal to the time specified.

Scheduled: Select an option to search for a report based on its schedule. Note: If a report is scheduled but has passed the end date specified in the schedule, the report will not appear in the search results if "Scheduled" is specified.

Show only reports with errors: Select this check box to search only for reports that have errors.

Classic reports: Prior to Report Wizard, PowerSteering reports were created using Classic Reports. Reports that were created in Classic Reports still exist and can be searched for, but cannot be edited. Select this check box to search for only reports that were created in Classic Reports.

3. View Results

  • View search results.
