How do I copy alert subscription settings from one role to another?
There are times when you have alert subscriptions set up for a role which are very similar to the alert settings you want defined for a different role. Instead of starting over, you can copy the existing alert subscription settings from that role and use them as a starting point for the other role. This article describes how to copy alert subscriptions from one role to another.
1. Click Alert Subscriptions
2. Select Role
- Click the Role drop-down menu and select a role for which you want to assign alert subscriptions.
3. Click Copy
- Click the Copy from drop-down menu and select a role from which you want to copy alert subscriptions.
- Click Copy.
4. Click Save
- Make any additional changes to the alert subscriptions as necessary.
- Click Save.
5. View Confirmation Message
- View confirmation message. The alert subscription settings from the Project Manager role are now copied over to the Business Unit Manager role.
